Crimean journalist Lilia Budzhurova sues FSB

Crimean journalist, Vice Director General of the production studio Qara Deniz Production, Lilia Budzhurova, sues the FSB officers, who were conducting the search in her house on November 2. The reason for the lawsuit was denial of access for the journalist's attorney to the site of search, "15 minut" reports.

The first court session took place on November 16 in Kyivskyi district court of Simferopol city. Budzhurova considers the conduct her attorney faced a violation of her constitutional right for attorney defense. FSB officers deny the fact of violation claiming that the officer in charge of the search "did not personally deny access to attorney." Obviously, he could not do it personally as the attorney was not allowed inside, where the officer in charge was.
