Court withdrew the license of the ATV TV channel

On November 13, Odesa district administrative court satisfied the claim of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council to withdraw the license of the ATV TV channel, owned by the currently detained ex-MP Igor Markov. This was reported by Dumskaia.net.

The ground for this claim was that the license should have been updated due to changes in the owners and the TV company failed to do so. 

The channel’s representatives already made a statement that they indent to appeal the court decision.
