The High Specialized Court of Ukraine did not allow journalists to be present in the session hall during the hearing of complaint of former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko. This decision was made by judges upon considering the relevant request of journalists, Ukrayinska Pravda reported.

Lutsenko and his defendse asked, given the high sensitivity of the process, to allow journalists at the trial.

Instead, the prosecutor stated that the law does not stipulate the presence of journalists in the court hall.
