Community Defence of "Ukrainian House" were obstructing ICTV journalists

On June 20, in Kyiv representatives of the Community Defence, whose HQ sits in the “Ukrainian House”, rudely threw out of their office the filming crew of the weekly news program “Fakty Tyzhnia” of the ICTV TV channel and took away the crew’s footage. According to the TV channel’s press service, the Community Defence people were treating the ICTV filming crew extremely rudely, they even threatened to shoot the journalist Serhiy Smalchuk. The journalists were filming how the “Ukrainian House” looked after all the protests, but people who introduced themselves as the Community Defence were interfering in every way possible.

The filming crew filed a complaint with the police, the pre-trial investigation has been launched.
