Commissioner receives 94 complaints from the Ternopil oblast about refusals to provide information in 2023
As of December 18, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights has received 94 complaints from the Ternopil oblast regarding violations of the right to access to public information.
This was reported to the regional IMI representative by the acting head of the Commissioner's secretariat, Ivan Verveyko.
According to the digital document circulation system "Megapolis.DocNet", the most (six) complaints were against OJSC "Ternopiloblenergo", followed by the State Tax Service of Ukraine (three), the Ministry of Health (three), as well as local self-government bodies: the Ternopil City Council (seven), the Velyka Berezovytsia Town Council (thirteen) and the Borshchiv City Council (six).
We will remind you that the Ternopil Oblast Military Administration only provided "Misto" journalist with information on the 2022–2023 income of the chair and his deputies after she appealed to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.
