Cabinet of Ministers proposes to sanction Maslyakov and several russian figures

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes the National Security and Defense Council to introduce sanctions against Oleksandr Maslyakov, "Club for the Cheerful and Quick-Witted" host, and other russian figures who participated in events in the occupied Crimea.

This is stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports Ukrinform.

The government proposes to impose sanctions for a period of five years. It is also proposed to sanction TV host Valdis Pelsh, folk-rock singer and soloist of the Pelageya band Pelageya Telegina, TV host Vadim Galygin, gymnast Nikita Nagorny, producer, russian State Duma deputy Sangadzhi Tarbaev. On August 24, 2021, they took part in the KVK Summer Cup of Champions 2021 in Yalta in the occupied Crimea.

The list includes other participants and members of the KVK jury who participated in these events.

The Cabinet of Ministers also proposes to introduce sanctions against athletes who took part in events in the occupied Crimea.
