In the building in Kyiv that now is in lease of the holding “1+1 media”, several audits of banking records have already been conducted this year. The holding claims it might be an attempt to pressure it. This is information from the comment given by the company representative to “Ukrainska pravda”.
“1+1 media” mentions that it is located at 23Kyrylivska street, in “Podil-Nerukhomist”.
“Indeed, last week our landlord informed us about this situation with the National Bank of Ukraine. Right after this we, as a tenant that paid in advance until the end of March of 2018 року, sent a letter to the National Bank to clarify the situation and its possible outcomes. It still remains unanswered”, the comment of the company to the media outlet was.
“ Podil-Nerukhomist” sends a letter to the agencies that conduct investigations with a request to explain the situation.
Yet the whole turn of events surrounding the building and “surprising action of investigators” give “1+1 media” grounds to consider that “one more attempt to pressure the media group is pending”.
For the context, on August 28, Pecherskyi district court of Kyiv permitted the investigator of the General Prosecutor's office to conduct an examination of the building in Kyiv where the holding “1+1 Media” is located, this being related to the case of embezzlement of Pryvatbank's funds.
