BRT Concern: Power outages resulted in broadcasting glitches
Russia's August 26 shelling strikes of the energy infrastructure in Kyiv and across Ukraine resulted in power outages at BRT Concern facilities and subsequent TV broadcasting glitches, reports "Detector Media", citing the technical director of the BRT Concern, Serhiy Semerey.
"Due to this morning's shelling strikes on the energy infrastructure across Ukraine and in Kyiv, there were problems with the power supply to the BRT Concern facilities. These resulted in broadcasting glitches. Currently, all networks are working as usual, some transmission centers have backup power generators," said Serhiy Semerey.
As reported earlier, Hromadske Radio transmitters were not working in Kyiv and Hirnyk (Donetsk oblast) on August 26, 2024 due to power outages caused by Russian shelling.
