Border guards will limit the work of mass media at checkpoint during Saakashvili's arrival

11.09.2017, 17:24
The State Border Guards Service of Ukraine informs the mass media employees that on September 10, the access of mass media  representatives to "krakivets" will be limited. This was reported by Espreso.TV , with reference to press service of the State Border Guards Service. The measures are caused by the fact that “On September 10, some political parties and MPs announce mass rallies near the checkpoint “Krakivets” on the border with Poland, and this creates additional risks of conflict situations and other provocations”. “All comments on these topics will be given near the checkpoint, where communication site will be set up”, the border guards clarified. The Border Guards claim that the Poland also limits the work of any mass media at theor checkpoint "Korchova", which is in front of Ukrainian “Krakivets”. As the media outlet reminds, Mikheil Saakashvili promised to return to Ukraine on September 10 . The politician said that he hopes to see his supporters, including MPs, near the checkpoint. The Border Guards recommended not to use the specified checkpoint on Sunday. As vice-head of State Border Guards Service Oleh Slobodian said, the Border Guards Service does not plan to permit entry of Saakashvili to Ukraine, and they plan to "confiscate his invalid passport".
