Body of journalist from newspaper 'Freedom' found near Ternopil

The body of a dead journalist from the Ternopil newspaper "Svoboda" (Freedom) was discovered on Sunday morning as Ukrainians went to the polls to vote for a new parliament. News of the discovery was first reported by regional police officer Peter Kolesnik, reported Ukrinform.
"Before the evening he died [his mother] appealed to the police that she did not know where her son was. After searching, his body was found on the outskirts of the city. No traces of violence showed on the body of the journalist when found," Kolesnik said.
Currently, police are not linking the death of the journalist to his profession.
