Alasania said some NPTU employees summoned for questioning
Several employees of National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine are going to be summoned for questioning as witnesses, but there is no more searches at the HQ of the UA:PBC. Zurab Alasania said it at the press conference on October 11, as Ukrinform reported.
“There were no more searches, interrogations of me or other things. Although some part of our employees are still summoned for questioning. Literally, one person (was interrogated recently - ed.) as a witness. But no pressing accusations, suspicions or anything of the kind, and no additional requests for materials. Next to happen as to us, scheduled for November, is a complaint from my lawyer, related to the fact that they had seized so much things: my personal notebooks, flash drives. There is a procedural measure: to send an inquiry about, and if these things are not sequestrated by the court, then they must be returned,” Alasania said.
At the same time, he noted that his colleagues in NPBU still could not understand what investigators are looking for.
“Noone among the lawyer understands it, and they are three. If this is a hunt for a single head, probably, personally, I stand in light of someone, then say it, at least ... Public broadcasting company costs much more than just soneone’s head. But there are no such signals, and we cannot understand anything for now,” he added.
