9 oblasts still struggling with mobile connection after the missile strikes – Fedorov
Connection in Ukraine is being restored following Russian missile strikes. As of now, nine oblasts in total are still struggling with mobile connection.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said this on Telegram.
"Thanks to the efforts of energy workers and mobile operators, 3,000 base stations have resumed their work in just one day. Residents of Kharkiv and Zhytomyr oblasts are back in touch," he said.
In total, nine regions are still having difficulties with mobile connection. In Odesa oblast, 38% of networks are functional, 67% in Mykolaiv oblast, 69% in Khmelnytsky and Volyn oblasts, 77% in Chernihiv oblast, 78% in Kyiv oblast, 79% in Zakarpattia, 81% in Lviv oblast, 82% in Vinnytsia oblast.
Fedorov assured that the issues were temporary.
"Energy companies, telecom companies, and the Digital Ministry's team are working 24/7 to restore connection as quickly as possible. For now, we advise you to use national roaming and connect to Wi-Fi," he added.
As IMI reported, in occupied Kakhovka, the invaders are mining infrastructure facilities and destroying mobile communication towers.
