"1+1 media" claims that the National Bank requests access to accounts of the media holding's employees

09.02.2018, 21:19
Media holding “1+1 media” released information that they received a request from the National Bank of Ukraine with a request to disclose information about cash flow on banking accounts of “1+1 media” employees. The media group considers this request a direct pressure, and an attempt of political persecution before the elections, TSN reports. The request was received on February 8. The media group is very concerned about this letter and by the desire of the national bank to get access to account information of several of its employees in violation of banking privacy. "1+1" perceives it as a threat, and continuation of the government's attempts to shut the channel down, as the channel's office at Kyrylivska was recently under threat of eviction, and there was an attempt to accuse of high treason one of the channel's  hosts.
