Cameraman beaten in Kharkiv diagnosticated with cerebral hemorrhage

His condition being grave, he remains in intensive care department in the municipal emergency aid hospital named of Meshchaninov. This was reported by Hanna Chernenko, correspondent of the 24th channel in a live program on the 24th channel. Vadym Makaryuk was filming the report story on the row between entrepreneurs and activists at the biggest in Kharkiv commercial center Marketplace Barabashovo, as some persons assaulted him. Afterwards, Makaryuk told, that the assaulters ran after him and kicked him. The social networks spread a video where one could see that someone fired a shot at the head of the cameraman. The Kharkiv police has instituted a criminal proceeding based on the fact of beating and obstruction of the journalist’s professional activities, as to the website of the National Police in the Kharkiv regioт.
