Until November 28: registration for conference on investigative journalism
The Regional Press Development Institute has announced an annual conference for investigative journalists to be held on December 2-4. This was reported on Facebook.
Participants will discuss the following issues:
Cooperation projects. How to hold cross-border investigations, how to deepen international cooperation of investigative journalists, where to look for funding for such materials and what high-profyle publications made splash at the medialandscape this year.
Sustainable development. How do research centers have to evoluate and what obstacles do they have to overcome, and why it is important not to forget about ethics and standards and how this affects the goals for sustainable development.
Teaching. How to teach investigative journalism not only in universities, but also informally. For example, where to start with if you want to run an online course.
Innovations. Introduction to new tools: from registries to cryptocurrency and Python, an attempt to implement the knowledge gained during workshops - practical sessions of the conference.
Practices. What precedents have changed the media environment this year? What new practices do investigative journalists use?
Deadline for offline applications : November 21, 23:59.
Deadline for online applications : November 28, 2021, 23:59.
Only holders of the green COVID certificate will be able to attend the event offline.
