On the evening of March 5, Zhytomyr.info website sustained a DDoS-attack. The hackers have made changes to the news report about the shelling of settlements, according to the media’s website.

According to the newspaper, the website was unavailable for several minutes due to a large number of requests, and readers saw that changes were made to the news report about the shelling of settlements.

“Experts have confirmed that this was a DDoS attack; after access to the website was blocked for users from russia and Belarus, Zhytomyr.info continued to work stably,” the newspaper writes.

Zhytomyr.info reported on shelling strikes in the oblast and the city. In particular, the media outlet covered the March 1 strike on Zhytomyr that resulted in residential building on Saburova St catching fire and windows being broken in a local hospital and the oblast perinatal centre.
