The office of the TV channel We Ukraine was damaged in a massive Russian strike on Kyiv overnight on 20 August. The staff were unharmed, the channel reported.
The windows in the office were blasted out and the newsroom sustained significant damage. The shock wave also collapsed parts of the ceiling in the office hallways.

The channel’s team said they would continue to operate as usual despite the shelling.
“What matters is that all our people are alive. Everything else we’ll restore: repair the building, replace the equipment, rebuild the studio. And Ukrainians don’t need anyone to explain who the Russians are or what methods they use to wage war. A strike on our newsroom won’t intimidate us or force us into silence. We were working, we are working, and we will keep working,” stressed Ihor Petrenko, director of the We Ukraine media group.

As reported earlier, Radio na Dotyk studio was damaged in a combined Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia overnight on 11 August. The panoramic windows were blasted out, and the wall and door between the studio and the guest room were damaged.
