A checkpoint in Korosten, Zhytomyr oblast, was targeted in an air strike on March 2, the Korosten Media TV tower being destroyed as a result. Television broadcasting has stopped in the town.
This was reported by Natalia Chyzhevska, Deputy Mayor of Korosten, to Suspilne Zhytomyr.
The attack took place at about 3 p.m.
“We are in touch with the chief doctor of Korosten hospital. Four people died, he said. Currently, doctors are fighting for the life of five more victims in the hospital,” Natalia Chyzhevska said.
