Russian forces are sending death threats to Ukrinform’s Kherson correspondent Iryna Staroselets, who spoke about the campaign in a Facebook post, as IRS-Henichesk reported.
The journalist also confirmed this information to the IMI’s regional representative.
“The Russians are calling me and threatening me. They call me by name and explain what they will do to me, ” the journalist said.
According to the newspaper, the journalist is actively covering the developments in Kherson oblast, which is occupied by the Russian troops.
We will remind, in the territory of the Kherson region which has been occupied by the Russian military invaders, they make attempts to create system of commandant’s offices.
As IMI reported, on March 12, local journalist Oleh Baturyn went missing in Kakhovka (Kherson oblast).
On March 12, due to the Russian occupation in Henichesk (Kherson oblast), the online publication Novyi Vizyt closed operations.
