Hackers attacked the website of the Ukrainian financial media Minfin.com.ua on March 2, Detector Media reports.
Treeum CEO Ivan Yevtushenko suggested that the attackers probably mistook the media website for the website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, due to the similarity of the name and the large number of visitors.
At 10:46 on March 2, the main page of Minfin.com.ua looked like this:

Like most Ukrainian media, the apolitical website Minfin.com.ua has been supporting Ukrainians and the morale of our army in recent days. We have been gathering and publishing information both in the financial field and that which is simply vital in our time. Last week, Minfin has been getting more than 1 million views every day. Maybe that’s why it was easy to mistake us for the ministry. But we will gladly accept this blow. And we will consider it just another tactical mistake of the enemy. Glory to Ukraine and all the UAF warriors! ” Yevtushenko said.
