The crew of the radio station concluded that the radio station "Tysa-FM" is destroyed and forced to close down the station.
"We tried to deliver our position to leadership of NTU and then newly established PBCU in Kyiv. Two years of efforts in vain to be heard. We were told, we were comforted that they will consider our question separately. They ensure us, that they understand the importance of such a project and won't destroy it. Yet, it turned out to ne an empty promises. They revoked our licenses,"- statement says.
Director of Zakarpattia (Transcarpathian) Regional Directorate of PBCU (UA:First) Vitaliy Meshcheriakov said that the team of radio station had already expressed their position and he supports them. He also reminded that on April 13, there will be elections of PBCU leadership. So ultimately the fate of the music station is dependent on a new leadership.
