YouTube’s Moscow office blocked TSN channel based on separatists’ complaint

On January 18, the Moscow office of YouTube satisfied the complaint of the pro-separatist resource News-Front and blocked the TSN’s video channel at YouTube.

News-Front’s complaint concerned an alleged copyright infringement, using a fragment of their footage in one of TSN stories. As of January 18, the TSN channel at YouTube was not accessible. On January 19, the account was already functional. Earlier, News-Front several times publicly declared that anyone can use their videos, yet regarding an influential Ukrainian channel they decided to change their rules.
