Yevhen Polozhiy accuses court of blocking investigation of his beating

The editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Panorama” Yevhen Polozhiy accuses the court of blocking investigation of his beating, which happened on April 15. He said about this in Sumy press-club on May 7 during his meeting with journalists, Sumy IMI correspondent reports. He says that the court blocked investigators from receiving data on subscribers in the location, thus impeding the investigation. Polozhiy himself thinks that the purpose of the brutal beating he was subjected to was to render him unable to perform his duties during the critical period of presidential election, and election of Sumy city mayor.
