Wounded Ukrinform correspondent Olha Zvonaryova is learning to walk
Ukrinform correspondent Olha Zvonaryova is learning to walk after being severely wounded by a Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia on April 5, 2024, the journalist announced on Facebook.
"I never thought that I would be learning to walk at 40. A very advanced task, to be honest, but doable. I am certain of it and I'm going for it, on my two feet (which is what matters)," the journalist wrote.

She thanked the rehabilitation doctor Oleksiy Markov for her first three small steps with almost no help of a walker. "I'm happy," Zvonaryova added.
She thanked her doctors, friends and colleagues for their support.

As reported earlier, Ukrinform correspondent Olha Zvonaryova was injured by shelling in Zaporizhzhia on April 5. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition with severe trauma and blood loss. During the shelling, Olha received a serious wound to her leg.
