A Russian court fined a Sochi woman for having the motto “Glory to Ukraine” written in her WhatsApp profile in Korean, reports “Nastoyaschee Vremya“.

She is facing charges under Article 20.3 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“Propaganda or public display of paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations”).

According to the contents of the case, on February 1, Victoria, 38, posted a Korean phrase, “the translation of which is a customary greeting in some extremist organizations.”

The accused, as reported, pleaded guilty and asked for a minimum sentence.

As IMI reported, according to the Crimean Human Rights Group, Russian-controlled Crimean courts fine people for the motto “Glory to Ukraine” most often.
