Website of "Center of Journalist Investigations" under DDoS attack for second time this month
The editorial office of the Crimean informational agency "Center of Journalist Investigations" reports that its website is under severe DDoS attack, which rendered it temporarily unavailable. This was reported by the agency itself on its Facebook page. Its tech specialists are working on restoring the access. In the meantime, the editorial office publishes news by email and on its Facebook page.
The previous attack on the website was on September 15 and the website went down for a while, and the one before that began on September 5, which took down the website for several days .
On September 2, the editorial email account was hacked.
Besides, its staff was summoned for conversations to the local branch of the Federal Security Service of Russia (correspondent Yevhen Harkusha in Yalta) and to the prosecutor’s office in Simferopol (the Center’s editor-in-chief Valentyna Samar – in Simferopol).
