VoxUkraine started web-site to check who among politicians lies
The online platform “Anthology of lie” (Nepravda.org) aimed to verify credibility of statements made by the politicians has been started by the NGO VoxUkraine and fact-checking project VoxCheck. This is the first database of this kind in Ukraine. The “Anthology of lie” contains analysis of 1952 statements of Ukrainian politicians, as Petro Poroshenko, Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleg Lyashko, Yuriy Boyko, Anatoliy Grytsenko, Andriy Sadovyy, Volodymyr Zelensky, Volodymyr Groysman, Vadym Rabinovych, Oleg Tyagnybok and others. The selection of statements covers im portant for Ukrainian topics, as reforms, financing of army, economic issues, anti-corruption measures, medicine, education, retirement pensions, subsidies, public debt and so on. As to VoxCheck, more than half of checked statements were found out to be lie. Taking into account the number of untruthful statements the leaders are Yulia Tymoshenko, Vadym Rabinovych and Oleg Lyashko. The web-site is functioning as beta-version for instance, fully functional version is to be started in two months.
