Voters at Kyiv polling station incorrectly told to vote at home

28.10.2012, 05:22
Former journalist Pavel Dyachenko came to vote at polling station № 800057 in constituency number 211 of Goloseevskogo district in Kyiv and was told that the station received a statement from the District Hospital № 2 with a request to vote at home, he told IMI.

Dyachenko searched inside the clinic and such statements were not posted. A man called the police to make a statement about the violation of his right to vote.

An observer of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, Eugenia Mateychuk, reported that police arrived and took statements, then left. Observers recommend victims to write a statement about the crime or call the police.
