The VolynPost journalist Serhiy Shapoval managed to break free from Donetsk separatists on May 18; currently he is in Kyiv.
According to the journalist, all three weeks of imprisonment he was held in a room at Donetsk oblast state administration. He also says that he was tortured and interrogated. Shapoval said that he managed to escape due to intervention of “some politicians”. He promised to tell the details as soon as he comes back to Lutsk.
