18.08.2014, 00:49

The vice head of Kyiv road police Oleksander Tkachenko filed a lawsuit to Sviatoshyn rayon court of the city of Kyiv against the head of the online project "Dorozhny Kontrol" Rostyslav Shaposhnikov and the organization "Dorozhny Kontrol” on protection of honor, dignity, and reputation, and on compensation of moral damage. In his claim, Tkachenko asks the court to invalidate the information published on the "Dorozhny Kontrol” website on June 4 in the article ‘vice head of Kyiv road police Tkachenko has no idea about ‘Dorozhny Kontrol’ and demands to recover UAH 100 thousand from Shaposhnikov as a compensation for moral damage. Tkachenko also wants the website publishing the retraction of the article, and the article itself removed from the website.

The article was about an incident when the ‘Dorozhny Kontrol’ journalists were recording an interview with the lieutenant-colonel Lukisha, Tkachenko came into his office and started to forbid to film him in a very aggressive and rude manner.

Tkachenko believes that such description of his behavior damaged his reputation and caused him moral suffering.
