Verkhovna Rada's archive documents become available online
Verkhovna Rada's archive documents have become available online. This was announced by the governmental portal.
The State Archival Service of Ukraine and the staff of the Central State Archive of High Authorities and Administration of Ukraine (CSAHA) have completed the upload of copies of documents from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the period of Ukrainian independence to an online resource.
This includes 206,620 scanned copies of document pages from 1,015 files for 1990–1996. Among them are laws, decrees, Verkhovna Rada resolutions and their drafts, as well as documents on the preparation and publication: minutes and transcripts of meetings. The work on uploading documents of the highest legislative body of Ukraine will continue.
The documents were digitized jointly by the staff of the Central Archives of Ukraine and the State Center for the Preservation of Documents of the National Archival Fund of Ukraine. This event is timed to coincide with the International Archives Day.
