Unidentified men smashed editorial office of "Vesti"

On July 5, unidentified men smashed the editorial office of the newspaper «Vesti». This was reported by the director of the LLC «Vesti Mass Media» Ihor Huzhva.

Around noon, about 50 masked men ran to the newspaper office with stones and smoke grenades. They threw their stones and smoke grenades into the office windows, failed to get inside as the security would not let them, and ran away. 

The stones damaged several computers. The police is working on the site collecting evidence.

Ihor Huzhva believes this attack is related to the protest initiated by public activist Ihor Lutsenko, who demands that the newspaper stops publishing anti-Ukrainian materials.
