Unidentified armed people kidnapped journalist from Krasny Lyman, Yevheniy Frolenko

On November 8, in the city of Krasny Lyman (Donetska oblast), the journalist of newspaper “Lymanska Storona” and administrator  of website “Nash Lyman” Yevheniy Frolenko was kidnapped by a group of unidentified individuals.

According to the media outlet’s editorial office, the journalist was taken from his apartment around midnight. Later, his wife received calls from kidnappers, but they did not allow her to hear her husband’s voice. IMI was unable to make contact with his wife, and in the editorial office, they do not know who and why kidnapped the journalist. IMI confirmed, by sending relevant requests to Ukrainian governmental agencies that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies were not the ones that took the journalist.
