14.05.2014, 23:16

In Kostiantynivka (Donetsk oblast) , under the separatists' threat to close down the newspaper “Provintsia” its management appointed to the position of a deputy chief editor Volodymyr Averin, a Donetsk journalist and an active supporter of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People's Republic” (DPR) Володимира Аверіна. According to the newspaper founder Halyna Razputko, on May 10 the separatists entered the editorial office without authorization. When she arrived there together with the editor-in-chief Mykhailo Razputko, the representatives of DPR informed them that the newspaper would be allowed to keep circulating under the condition they changed the editorial policy and its management. They agreed to the separatists' conditions.
