"Ukrposhta" demands refutation from program "Skhemy". Program anchor considers this pressure
The state postal services provider “Ukrposhta” demands to refute the information presented in "Corruption at post service" story on the program produced by "Radio Svoboda", and apologize. "Ukrposhta" wrote an open letter to that effect to the National TV and Radio company and to "Radio Svoboda". Author and anchor of the program "Skhemy" ("Schemes") Natalka Sedletska sees such demands as pressure against the journalists. In particular, the program claims that the money was stolen through selling foreign currency by "Ukrposhta" based on unrealistically low exchange rate, which led the enterprise to make losses, but obviously was to the benefit of those who bought the foreign currency. The law enforcement agencies now investigate the facts stated in the program.
