Ukrainian photographer of France-Presse denied entry to Russia

The Ukrainian photojournalists Serhiy Supynskyi, who has been working for the French information agency France-Presse for 13 years, was denied entry to the territory of Russia, ВВС informs with a reference to France-Presse.

The 60-year-old citizen of Ukraine Serhiy Supynskyi intended to take a flight to Moscow from the airport of Minsk. He was approached by a man wearing civilian clothes, who checked his documents and said that he was denied entrance to Russia. The man did not introduce himself and did not explain the reason why entry is denied. The agency that employs the journalist sent an address to the Russian authorities asking to explain this incident. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia denies its involvement with this case.
