Ukrainian cyber specialists hack the websites of 19 Russian companies in the occupied territories
Ukrainian cyber specialists hacked the websites of 19 Russian companies operating in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and supporting the war on Ukraine, reports the UAF Strategic Communications Center.
On the websites, the hackers posted greetings on the 11th anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.
"Data that may be of value have been passed on to our partners in the Defense Forces," StratCom notes.
They added that an image of a broken chain has been uploaded to replace the websites' home pages.
"In this way, we reminded them of freedom – the value for which Ukrainians took to the Maidan on November 21, 2013. And we showed the Russians that their systems are vulnerable," StratCom added.
