On June 14, the Ukrainian side submitted the completed questionnaire on holding the international song contest "Eurovision-2023" in Ukraine to the European Broadcasting Union.

This was announced by Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.

According to the Minister, they suggested several venues for the contest.

"In a very short time, the government team managed to provide thorough and comprehensive answers. Everyone worked very efficiently and coherently – we gave detailed answers about the security issues and other organizational nuances, suggested several venues," wrote Tkachenko.

He noted that the authorities understand that in today's circumstances the organization of Eurovision in Ukraine is a challenge. "But we have accepted this challenge and I am sure we will hold a top-notch Eurovision in Ukraine," Tkachenko said.

It will be recalled that Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won the International Song Contest Eurovision-2022 in Turin (Italy) with their song Stefania. Ukraine won the right to host the competition next year.
