TV channel RT lost connection with its journalist in Donetsk

The Russian TV channel RT cannot get in contact with its freelance journalist Graham Phillips, who is currently in Donetsk. This was reported on the TV channel’s website. On the eve of July 23, together with a group of other journalists Phillips went to Donetsk airport, where there was exchange of fire. He went there without an editorial assignment.  His last twitter message, about heave shelling by Donetsk airport, was sent around 10 p.m. last night.

Earlier this year, on May 20, Phillips was  detained by the Security Service of Ukraine for unauthorized (and illegal) filming of Ukrainian classified military objects, but was released later.
