TV channel "DoTeBe" broadcasts on occupied territories of Donbas
TV channel "DoTeBe" (Donetsk branch of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine) has received a license for satellite broadcasting and started broadcasting on both sides of the delimitative line on April 3. Interfax-Ukraine reported it with reference to press service of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine.
"Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) regional branch of the National Television Company of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions were located on the occupied territories. There was a decision to resume the Donetsk and Lugansk RSTBC on Ukraine controlled areas - in Severodonetsk and Kramatorsk. However, the signals of these channels were not available to local residents,"- the press service reminded.
In the near future NPBCU is licensing Lugansk branch.
Until now, Donetsk and Lugansk branch had been broadcasting using digital network with temporary permits and exclusively on the territory controlled by Ukraine.
