TV channel "Donbass" currently switched off in air broadcasting in Donetska and Luhanska oblasts

The editorial office of the TV channel у «Donbass» (owned by the businessman Rinat Akhmetov) is currently forced to work long-distance. As of July 16, residents of Donetsk and Luhanska oblasts are unable to receive this TV channel on air because the terrorists have taken over Donetsk TV center. This was reported by the TV channel’s press service.

At the moment, in the residential areas of Donetska and Luhanska oblasts under the terrorists’ control the TV channel «Donbass» is still broadcast by some cable TV operators. These are the companies that still have not received threats from the terrorists or decided to ignore them. The TV channel hopes its broadcasting will be restored in the freed areas of Donetska oblast as soon as the TV tower, which was destroyed by the separatists’ fire, is repaired.
