TSN journalists attacked two more times near Lavra

On April 20 in Kyiv, when TSN journalists were trying to take footage near the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, they sustained two more attacks against their filming crew, tsn.ua reports.

The journalists were taking footage of guests coming to visit Vicar of Lavra Pavlo on occasion of his the anniversary, which he celebrates since April 19.

The first filming crew that worked in daytime on April 20 on the territory of Lavra, was attacked by one of the security guards, who was punching the camera, and a group of men who joined him later. The second attack was by the Vicar’s assistants, who arrived in a luxurious car and attacked the cameraman of the second filming crew.

After the journalists called police, a man supposedly representing the Vicar came out, and started to deny the fact of attacks and to blatantly lie about it.
