TSN filming crew under fire by snipers in Donetsk region

The filming crew of the news program TSN (TV channel “1+1”) was fired at by militant snipers near Zaytsevo, Donetska oblast.

As TSN reported, the militants opened fire when the officers were leading the filming crew to the positions of the military reconnaissance troops. “Obviously, the militants noticed the group, and their sniper engaged. We had to move squatting down, we later just had to lay low and wait as bullets were buzzing around. The bullets set on fire the grass, causing a fire”, reported the journalist Yevhenia Tsvietanska.

They had to wait for about 10 minutes, she added. No one was injured in the incident.
