The Ministry of Culture became the main administrator of the budgetary funds for creative associations in the sphere of mass media

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments to its Decree as of 2011 on the Procedure of using funds of the state budget allocated for financial support of creative associations in the sphere of mass media.

The relevant resolution was approved on July 29 at the Cabinet of Ministers session, Ukrinform reports.

“According to Article 22 of the Budget Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On the state budget of Ukraine for 2020”, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine is the main administrator of the budget funds, and the lower level administrator, as well, as the entity responsible for implementing budget program 3802050 “Financial support of creative associations in the sphere of mass media, press” is the State Committee for TV and Radio”, the memo for the draft of the resolution explains.

As it is pointed out, according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of April 27, 2011, No.449, the main administrator of the budgetary funds and the relevant implementing agency of the budget program was the State Committee for TV and Radio.
