The enemy's hackers attacked Ukraine over a thousand times in half a year
The enemy's hackers attacked Ukraine 1,123 times in the six months of the full-scale war. This was reported by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection.
Most often, cyber criminals attacked the government and local authorities. Among the main targets are commercial and financial institutions, bodies of the security and defense sector, energy, transport, and telecommunications enterprises – the entire infrastructure that provides the people's livelihood, the State Special Communications Service notes.
Since February 24, the enemy's hackers committed 260 attacks on the government and local authorities, 154 attacks on the security and defense sectors, 83 attacks on commercial organizations, and 72 attacks on Ukraine's financial sector.
The most common cyber attack methods are: information collection (306 cases), malicious software (267), interference (149), exploiting a known vulnerability (100).
