The court judged tax inspection that was conducted in Shuster studio an unlawful one

District administrative court of Kyiv city judged unlawful the tax inspection conducted in 2015 at LLC "Savik Shuster Studio. This was reported by “Ukrainska pravda” with reference to Ukrainian news. In June of 2016, “Savik Shuster Studio” filed a claim to the court demanding to judge the tax-related decisions of State Fiscal Service as of December 7, 2015, unlawful and void, and also to cancel the order of the taxation officials as of September 21 on conducting inspection. The claimant's defense was that the tax inspection violated the schedule of inspections established by the Ministry of Finance. The inspection established that the company underreported its income taxes by 10.7 million hryvnias, and VAT - by 1.98 million hryvnias. In January of 2016, the TV host Savik Shuster stated that against his company a criminal case was started for tax evasion, and he is summoned to the State Fiscal Service for interrogation.
