Terrorists took two journalists hostage because of Ukrainian flag

On May 25, at a checkpoint in the town of Shchastia near Luhansk the journalists Viacheslav Bondarenko (Luhansk online media outlet OBZOR.lg.ua) and Maksym Osovskiy (Spilno.tv sreamer) were detained by terrorists and taken to the building of Luhansk office of the Security Service of Ukraine they had taken over earlier this month. According to Informator.lg.ua, the terrorists stopped the car, in which the journalists and their hired taxi driver Andriy Titovsky were riding around Luhansk region to cover the process of the elections. The gunmen did not like the journalists’ Ukrainian flag.

At the moment, neither of the journalists can be contacted, they do not answer their phones.
