Terrorists released Anton Skyba
On July 26, gunmen of the so-called "Donetsk People’s Republic" released the Ukrainian journalist Anton Skyba, who works for CNN as fixer. He left the captured building of Donetsk branch of the Security Service of Ukraine around 4 p.m. to be picked up by his father. He has been held in captivity for 4 days, and his release was filmed by the Russian TV channel LifeNews. He was beaten severely and forced to make false confessions, which were recorded on video.
In the evening of July 22, the armed terrorists escorted Anton Skyba out of the Donbas Hotel, where he was staying together with the filming crew of the American TV channel CNN. The gunmen were looking for him specifically and accused him of being a spy and a terrorist for his pro-Ukrainian post on Facebook, in which he suggested to outlaw the terrorists and to offer a bounty on their heads.
Currently Skyba is out of Donetska oblast in a safe place together with his family.
