Terrorists control 3 TV towers in ATO zone

Three TV towers in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation are still under the terrorists’ control. This was reported at a press conference by the head of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council Yuri Artemenko. According to him, the TV towers have been seized by the terrorists in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Rovenky (Luhanska oblast). He also specified that in Luhansk the TV tower has been deenergized, and in Donetsk, the TV tower’s electricity supply is being interrupted all the time.

Artemenko stated that other rebroadcasting transmitters are now broadcasting the Ukrainian TV channels Channel 5 and “1+1” for Donetsk.

In the cities and towns taken back from the terrorists, the broadcasting of the leading Ukrainian TV channels and radio stations is being restored.
