SSCS reports russian hackers mass mailing malicious software for data theft
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine reports mass mailing of letters that steal data. The attack is associated with the UAC-0041 group (russian hacktivists).
The emails arrive with the subject "Final payment" and an attachment of the same name in the form of a TGZ archive.
Opening the archive will download malicious software on the computer and result in data being stolen.
Earlier, the State Special Communications Service warned about mass mailing from compromised addresses of Ukrainian state bodies.
